Photometrics produced an excellent line of scientific grade cameras (Series 200) that use the AT200 camera control interface. PMIS was originally designed and written to completely control these cameras and was released in February of 1991 to customers of Photometrics GmbH in Munich, Germany. To facilitate that development, GKR Computer Consulting ported the available DOS camera control library to Windows. We continue to support and maintain a completely rewritten version of the library that can be used to develope 32 bit Windows applications that access any of the Series 200 camera systems.
